Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 16 week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 16 beds and typical staffing of 1:1 to 1:2. Cerner charting is used with support for high-risk births and immediate newborn care.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support D&C and cerclage procedures
• Provide immediate newborn care after delivery
• Prepare equipment and follow sterile technique
• Document maternal and newborn care in Cerner

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
• Immediate newborn care experience
• NRP, BLS, ALS, and advanced fetal monitoring

• Circulating experience
