Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 26-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves high-risk antepartum, triage, and mother-baby patients, with Epic charting. Charge nurse experience is expected, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, triage, and recovery
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and cesarean care
• Support antepartum, postpartum, and newborn assessments
• Administer ordered medications, fluids, and blood products
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist with obstetrical procedures
• Serve in the charge nurse role as needed

• Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Charge nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience

• Amnioinfusion
• Breastfeeding support and lactation support
• VBAC management and trial of labor
• Teaching hospital experience
