Travel Interventional Radiology RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will assist with interventional radiology procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The unit includes 2 IR suites, a holding area and a CT procedure room, with Expanse charting and image-guided care.

• Prepare patients and equipment for interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patients during moderate sedation and image-guided procedures
• Assist with angiograms, biopsies and vascular or neuro interventions
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care
• Document assessments, medications and procedure details in the chart
• Respond to changes in patient status and support recovery in the holding area

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• Experience in procedural departments, critical care, emergency department or ICU
• Moderate sedation experience

• Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
