Travel Interventional Radiology RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse will provide prep and recovery care in a hospital radiology unit on a 6-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 10 bays, a 1:1 patient ratio, and uses MEDITECH. It supports patients needing moderate sedation and image-guided procedures.

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology and imaging procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after moderate sedation
• Assess vital signs, comfort, and response to treatment
• Coordinate care with radiology, CT, MRI, and ultrasound teams
• Document patient status and interventions in MEDITECH
• Support safe recovery and discharge readiness

• Registered Nurse licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2 years of IR, ER, or ICU experience

• Interventional radiology experience
