Travel Intermediate Care RN in Florence, SC

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will provide step-down care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Florence, South Carolina. The 12-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic with a 1:4 ratio.

• Monitor adult and geriatric step-down patients on telemetry and report changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and insulin protocols
• Manage central and peripheral lines, PICCs, and port access
• Provide oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, and respiratory monitoring
• Perform wound care, wound vac care, and routine bedside nursing tasks
• Support rapid response and code team efforts and document care in Epic

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact license in hand before start
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of ICU or Stepdown Registered Nurse experience
• Telemetry, central line care, peripheral line care, IV starts, blood product administration, and wound care skills

• NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP management
