Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cleveland, OH

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for step-down patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cleveland, Ohio. The unit serves patients recovering from thoracic surgery and requires close rhythm monitoring and timely response to changing conditions.

• Monitor intermediate care patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies and ordered treatments
• Assess postoperative thoracic surgery recovery and cardiac status
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and escalate concerns promptly
• Coordinate care with providers and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and safety

• Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact state license in hand
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 12 months of permanent step-down or intermediate care experience
