Travel ICU RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a 10-bed ICU on a 13-week contract in Thousand Oaks, California. The unit uses Meditech and typically runs 1:2 or 1:1 ratios depending on acuity. It cares for high-acuity adults using advanced monitoring and life support.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Manage ventilator support and other advanced critical care therapies
• Titrate vasoactive medications and support hemodynamic monitoring
• Monitor EVDs and assist with CRRT and ECMO support
• Complete NIH Stroke Scale assessments and interpret ABGs
• Assist with line placement and intubation procedures

• California Registered Nurse license
• 3 years of critical care experience excluding travel assignments
• EVD management and monitoring
• Ventilator management and vasoactive medication administration
• NIH Stroke Scale completion, hemodynamic monitoring, and ABG interpretation
• CRRT experience
