Travel ICU RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients in a hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in Thousand Oaks, California. The unit uses Meditech and commonly sees 1:1 to 1:2 ratios, with EVD, ventilator support, CRRT, and stroke monitoring.

• Monitor hemodynamics and ventilator support
• Manage EVDs and CRRT therapy
• Titrate vasoactive medications per protocol
• Complete NIH Stroke Scale assessments
• Interpret ABGs and respond to changes
• Assist with line placement and intubation
• Support post open heart care and hypothermia management

• California Registered Nurse license
• Three years of critical care experience excluding travel assignments
• NIH Stroke Scale completion
• EVD, ventilator, vasoactive drug, ABG, and CRRT experience
