Travel ICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill patients in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 28 beds, mixed ICU and holding patients, uses Meditech, and works with 1:2 to 1:3 ratios. Travelers interested in neuro or cardiovascular ICU care can train on specialized skills.

• Provide direct care for critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor ventilated patients and telemetry rhythms
• Support bedside handoff and ongoing reassessment
• Assist with CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Care for post-op cardiac and neuro patients
• Coordinate respiratory treatments and phlebotomy needs

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 3 to 6 months of Registered Nurse experience, including 1 year in ICU
• Ability to manage 1:2 to 1:3 ICU assignments and ventilated patients
• Proficiency reading telemetry strips
• CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and phlebotomy skills

• BSN
• TNCC certification
• Previous successful travel nursing assignment with Meditech experience
