Travel ICU RN in Clinton, SC

A Travel Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults in an acute care hospital in Clinton, South Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The unit has 8 beds, sees about 5 patients daily, and uses Epic charting. It serves adults and geriatrics with sepsis, stroke, respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, and electrolyte imbalances.

• Assess and monitor critically ill adult patients with changing hemodynamic and respiratory needs
• Administer and titrate cardiac, vasoactive, insulin, sedation, and paralytic infusions
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, arterial lines, central lines, and blood product therapy
• Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and 12-lead ECG findings
• Perform suctioning, IV access, isolation precautions, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other support services

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1.5 years of medical intensive care unit experience
• Experience with 2:3 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience
