Travel ICU RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Portland, Oregon. It serves adults in a 36-bed unit with Epic charting and 1:1 or 1:2 ratios, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor adults with critical illness and multisystem organ dysfunction
• Administer vasoactive, cardiac, and sedation infusions
• Manage ventilators, oxygenation support, and respiratory failure care
• Assist with CRRT, ECMO, VAD, IABP, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Care for arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, and blood products
• Assess rhythms, ABGs, and hemodynamic changes

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Arterial line, ventilator, and vasoactive drip management

• CCRN
• Continuous IV paralytic and neuromuscular blockade experience
• EVD, ICP monitoring, and post craniotomy or neurosurgery experience
• Swan Ganz monitoring, pre or post cardiac cath, and pre or post hemodialysis experience
