Travel ICU RN in Hood River, OR

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital in Hood River, Oregon on a 26-week contract. The unit uses Epic and serves adolescents and adults in a critical access, Level III trauma, teaching hospital. ICU patients are rare, so the role often supports med/surg care.

• Assess and care for critically ill and med/surg patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, ABGs, and hemodynamic status
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and insulin protocols
• Support ventilated patients, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, PICCs, ports, and CVP monitoring
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and respond to changing conditions

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Experience caring for up to 2 patients at a time
• Proficiency with ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, ports, dysrhythmias, ABGs, blood products, IV insulin, CVP monitoring, and vasoactive drips

• High-output drain management
• TPN and lipid therapy
• Epic charting experience
