Travel ICU RN in Fishers, IN

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a short-term acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Fishers, Indiana. The unit cares for adults with ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, urinary tract infection, and acute shock, and uses Cerner charting.

• Monitor critically ill adults with respiratory, cardiac, renal, and infectious conditions
• Manage ventilated patients and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Assist with arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and sheath removal
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, IV insulin, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Perform neurologic, cardiac, and respiratory assessments, including ABGs and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Provide high-acuity nursing care for ICU, PCU, and medical-surgical patients

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 3 years of ICU, PCU, or medical-surgical experience
• Prior travel experience
• Strong skills in ventilator management, arterial lines, vasoactive drips, dysrhythmias, and IV therapy

• Cerner charting system experience
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and Impella experience
• FloTrac/Vigileo and pulmonary artery line monitoring
• Previous charge experience
