Travel ICU RN in Fayetteville, NC

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and is in a Level III trauma and teaching hospital.

• Monitor critically ill adults and geriatrics
• Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support
• Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and insulin drips
• Assist with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube procedures
• Administer blood products and emergency medications
• Interpret dysrhythmias and obtain 12-lead ECGs
• Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Neuro ICU experience with ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and post-craniotomy care
• Experience with renal and GI surgical ICU patients
• Sheath removal, starting and maintaining IVs, and thermoregulation management
• Teaching hospital or Level II trauma experience
