Travel ICU RN in Brevard, NC

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Brevard, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and cares for ICU, stepdown, and med-surg patients. Care is delivered through a team-based model with typical ratios of 2-4:1 for ICU or stepdown and 5-6:1 for med-surg.

• Monitor patients with acute and critical care needs
• Perform IV starts and assist with central line and arterial line care
• Provide Foley catheter care and EKG monitoring
• Deliver wound care and support bedside treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the care team on daily treatment and discharge needs

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification by the end of orientation
• Strong acute care assessment and monitoring skills

• ICU or stepdown experience
• 1 year of med-surg experience
