Travel ICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 20 beds, uses Cerner PowerChart, and typically staffs at 1:2. It is a Magnet hospital and an ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center.

• Provide bedside care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients
• Monitor hemodynamic, respiratory, and neurologic status
• Administer ICU therapies and titrate medications as ordered
• Assist with airway management, line placement, and chest tube care
• Support ventilation, CRRT, and other advanced critical care therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary team

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Surgical ICU experience
• Trauma ICU experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Acute care ICU skills
