About this job

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adults in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Laurinburg, North Carolina. The unit has 7 beds, uses Epic, and typically staffs at 2:1. First-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and stabilize critically ill adults
  • Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
  • Manage ventilators and respiratory support
  • Assist with invasive lines and cardiac procedures
  • Coordinate care with stepdown support resources
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed

Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • 1 year of intensive care unit experience
  • Epic charting system experience
  • Previous charge experience
  • Prior travel experience

Preferred Skills

  • CVVHD/CRRT experience
  • Neuro intensive care unit experience
