Travel ICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients in a hospital intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 20 beds, 1:2 ratios, Cerner PowerChart documentation, Magnet status, and Level I trauma designation.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with intubation, chest tubes, central lines, and other ICU procedures
• Manage ventilated patients and support critical care therapies
• Provide care for patients receiving CRRT and other advanced treatments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary ICU team on daily care plans

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Surgical ICU experience
• Trauma ICU experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers
• Acute care ICU experience
