Travel ICU RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients in an acute care hospital on a 14-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit cares for ICU, intermediate care, and medical-surgical patients with varying ratios and EPIC charting.

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Manage care for ICU and step-down patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the care team
• Document assessments and interventions in EPIC
• Support rhythm monitoring and neurologic checks

• Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 years of recent ED or ICU nursing experience
• EPIC experience
• NIH Stroke Scale competency
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG competency
