Travel ICU RN in Farmington, CT

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit uses Epic and focuses on telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm assessment.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies per ICU protocols
• Perform cardiac rhythm and telemetry assessments
• Complete neurologic checks and NIH Stroke Scale assessments
• Document care, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team and assist with complex treatments

• Connecticut Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and telemetry certification
• 2 years of ICU Registered Nurse experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Epic experience
• Basic dysrhythmia and EKG interpretation competency
