Travel ICU RN in California

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for medical, cardiac and neuro ICU patients in an acute care hospital in Burbank, California on a 13-week contract. The unit has a 1:2 ratio, uses Meditech, and is part of a comprehensive stroke center with STEMI receiving status.

• Provide direct care for medical, cardiac and neuro ICU patients
• Monitor hemodynamics, labs and neurologic status
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients, airway support and suctioning
• Support CRRT, IABP and Impella therapies
• Perform stroke, post-neurosurgical and multisystem assessments

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Meditech experience
• Prior travel experience
• Ventilator and cardiac drip management skills

• ECMO experience
• Intra-aortic balloon pump experience
• Neuro ICU experience
• Community hospital experience
