Travel ICU RN in Bolivar, MO

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital's ICU and telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Bolivar, Missouri. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics, uses Meditech charting, and has 16 beds with an average daily census of 9.5. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor hemodynamics and report changes in condition
• Manage ventilated patients and airway support
• Titrate cardiac, insulin, and vasoactive drips
• Assess rhythms, ABGs, intake and output, and lab trends
• Coordinate care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, CHF, DKA, and respiratory failure
• Assist with arterial lines, central lines, blood products, and advanced cardiac support devices

• Missouri or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 center
• Critical care drips, ventilator care, dysrhythmia management, and central line care
• Impella and balloon pump support
• Prior travel experience

• Meditech charting experience
