A Travel First Assist Registered Nurse will assist in the operating room during a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

This acute care hospital role supports surgical cases in an operating room setting.

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures and first assist duties
• Prepare the operating room and surgical supplies for cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support a safe surgical field
• Position patients and provide intraoperative support throughout cases
• Coordinate instruments, sutures, specimens, and case flow
• Document intraoperative care and communicate with the surgical team
• Respond to changing intraoperative needs and support efficient case progress

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• CNOR certification
• Basic Life Support certification from AHA
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
