Travel First Assist RN in Orange, CA

A Travel RNFA Registered Nurse First Assist will assist in surgical cases in an acute care hospital in Orange, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology procedures.

• Assist the surgeon during operative procedures
• Scrub and circulate for assigned cases
• Support robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgeries
• Maintain sterile technique throughout the case
• Handle sponge and item counts with the circulating nurse
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and sterile field
• Coordinate with the OR team during procedures

• California Registered Nurse license
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant credential
• Basic Life Support certification
• 3 years of scrub and circulating operating room experience
• Experience with robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology cases
