A Travel First Assist Registered Nurse will assist in the operating room of an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operative procedures
- Prepare and position the operating room for cases
- Maintain a sterile field and safe technique
- Support the surgeon with first assist duties
- Monitor the patient’s intraoperative status
- Document care and operative events as directed
- Communicate patient needs and findings to the team
Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- BLS certification from AHA
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
