A Travel RN First Assist Registered Nurse will assist the surgeon with perioperative patient care in an acute care hospital in San Luis Obispo, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports surgical patients and contributes to coordinated perioperative services.

• Assist the operating surgeon during procedures
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care
• Support sterile technique and surgical readiness
• Promote cooperation among the care team
• Follow nursing standards and facility policies
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in the RNFA role

• California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Perioperative assessment, care coordination, and surgical assisting skills
