A Travel First Assist Registered Nurse will assist in surgical procedures in an acute care hospital in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The unit has 8 beds and supports operative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field and supplies
- Support patient positioning and intraoperative safety
- Provide first assist support with tissue handling and closure
- Monitor patient status during surgery
- Coordinate with the OR team and document care
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- CNOR certification
- BLS certification
