A Travel First Assist Registered Nurse will support surgical procedures in an acute care hospital in Petoskey, Michigan, on a 13-week contract. The role serves a surgical services unit handling elective and critical procedures across multiple specialties.

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and support aseptic technique
• Provide tissue exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure support
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and operative equipment
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs
• Document intraoperative care and communicate with the surgical team

• Michigan Registered Nurse license
