Travel EMT / ER Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Paramedic will provide ground transport care on a regional transport unit in Asheville, North Carolina for a 13-week contract. The unit handles wheelchair, behavioral health, BLS, ALS and critical care transports with one patient per transport and uses ESO charting. Equipment includes cardiac monitors and IV pumps.

• Assess patients during ground transport
• Start IV access and administer medications
• Monitor cardiac and vital signs
• Prepare transport equipment and vehicles
• Document care in ESO
• Communicate status updates during handoff
• Support wheelchair, BLS, ALS and critical care transports

• North Carolina Paramedic Certification and CE requirements
• ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, and BLS
• One year of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent
• Two years of satisfactory driving experience

• Bachelor's degree in EMS
