Travel EMT / ER Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Medical Technician will support emergency care in a hospital emergency unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, typically staffs 4:1 ratios, and cares for medical patients and behavioral holds in a Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Assist with triage flow and patient intake
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Support care for medical patients and behavioral holds
• Prepare rooms, supplies, and monitoring equipment
• Document patient care in Cerner
• Maintain respectful communication and patient experience

• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire

• Prior experience in a similar high-volume emergency department setting
