Travel ED RN in Winnsboro, SC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in a free standing hospital unit in Winnsboro, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, averages 25 to 30 patients daily, and uses Epic charting.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start and maintain IV access
• Assist with central line care and management
• Monitor patients during procedural sedation
• Support IV vasopressor therapy and continuous sedation
• Provide emergency care for mixed-age patients
• Work within team nursing flow in the unit

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Previous charge experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Trauma Level I experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• Gunshot wound care
• Non trauma emergency department experience
