About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Syracuse, New York. Epic charting is used.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage emergency patients
  • Deliver direct nursing care for urgent and emergent conditions
  • Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes
  • Coordinate care with physicians and support staff
  • Prepare patients for procedures and disposition
  • Educate patients and families on care plans

Qualifications

  • New York Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
