Travel ED RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The 72-bed department serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Cerner, and sees a high-volume monitored patient mix except for fast track. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform triage and rapid assessment of emergency patients
• Provide care for trauma and other high-acuity cases
• Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Support care for patients on respiratory and cardiac support
• Document care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and MAB or CPI
• Trauma level II or III, triage, and monitored-bed experience
• Dysrhythmia management, IV vasopressors, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilated patient care
• Charting system experience
