Travel ED RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The department has 72 beds, sees about 270 to 300 patients daily, and uses Cerner charting. It is a Magnet, teaching, Level II trauma center.

• Triage patients and prioritize care
• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Support monitored-bed and trauma care
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Monitor dysrhythmias and ventilatory support
• Document care in Cerner
• Collaborate with ancillary and unit staff

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, NIHSS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Triage, trauma level II or III, and Cerner experience
• Community hospital and prior travel experience

• Previous charge experience
