Travel ED RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The 72-bed unit sees about 270 to 300 patients a day, uses Cerner, and is a Magnet, teaching, Level II trauma center; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients and prioritize care in a high-volume emergency department
• Assess and stabilize patients across neonate to geriatric age groups
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Manage central lines, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilated patients
• Support trauma care, isolation precautions, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with providers, phlebotomy, social services, and unit staff

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CCRN
• MAB or CPI
• Triage, trauma level II or III, and community hospital experience
• Dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions/PPE, and electronic charting experience
