Travel ED RN in Orem, UT

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital in Orem, Utah on a 12-week contract. The 16-bed unit cares for adult and pediatric patients, with 3-4:1 ratios or 1:1 for trauma and critical cases. Meditech is used for documentation, and the team works closely with physicians and mid-level providers.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency department
• Insert and manage peripheral, ultrasound-guided, and intraosseous access
• Administer medications, blood products, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Assist with chest tube setup, central line care, and trauma procedures
• Obtain ECGs, monitor end tidal CO2, and support cardioversion and pacing
• Collect blood, urine, and cultures and help with wound and hemorrhage care
• Perform pediatric and adult interventions including Foley and straight catheterization

• Utah Registered Nurse license or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• Emergency nursing skills with trauma and critical care patients

• TNCC
• NRP
• ENPC
• Ultrasound-guided IV insertion experience
