Travel ED RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Napa, California. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, has 25 beds, averages 87 patients daily, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform triage and initial assessment
• Stabilize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Administer ordered treatments and medications
• Monitor patient response and report changes promptly
• Document care and interventions in Epic
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology and other support services
• Educate patients and families on emergency care needs

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS and TNCC
• Emergency triage skills

• Intracranial pressure monitoring experience
