Travel ED RN in Midland, MI

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Midland, Michigan. The role supports acutely ill and non-acute patients in a frequently stressful setting, with triage, assessment, and emergency intervention as needed.

• Perform patient triage, history taking, vital sign collection, and nursing assessments
• Initiate immediate care in life-threatening situations before physician arrival
• Assist with physician procedures and use complex and simple nursing skills
• Process provider orders, medication updates, and clarification requests accurately
• Evaluate treatment response and support revisions to the plan of care
• Provide discharge teaching, follow-up instructions, and family support
• Respond to ambulance radio reports and give pre-hospital care orders

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
