Travel ED RN in Manchester, NH

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a free standing emergency department on an 8-week contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. The unit serves patients with multiple comorbidities and complex cardiac, metabolic, infectious, trauma, and stroke needs, with 10 procedure rooms, a trauma room, and Meditech Expanse charting.

• Complete protocol-based initial assessments and workups
• Support trauma, stroke, and cardiopulmonary care
• Perform point-of-care testing and assist with lab collection
• Assist with laceration repair, orthopedic trauma, and eye care
• Insert ultrasound-guided IVs and assist with IO access
• Coordinate with providers for medical screening and emergency treatment

• 2 years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Adaptability and dependable attendance
• Strong understanding of medical terminology

• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
