Travel ED RN in Manchester, NH

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 12-week contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. The unit has 10 procedure rooms, 1 trauma room, a 5:1 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse for charting. It serves patients with multiple comorbidities, sepsis, DKA, trauma, stroke, and complex heart conditions.

• Complete protocol-based assessments and initial patient workups
• Run point-of-care lab testing and support EKG collection
• Assist with trauma, stroke, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Support ultrasound-guided IV access, IO insertion, and rapid infuser use
• Coordinate care with providers for medical screening and treatment planning
• Provide psychiatric and cardiopulmonary emergency care
• Use strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills in fast-paced care

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• Two years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

• One year of emergency department experience
• Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
