Travel ED RN in Manchester, NH

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 12-week contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. The unit serves patients with multiple comorbidities, complicated heart conditions, DKA, sepsis, trauma, stroke, and psychiatric needs, with a 4:1 ratio and a secure psychiatric annex.

• Triage and prioritize high-acuity emergency patients
• Assess patients with chest pain, sepsis, DKA, trauma, stroke, and psychiatric concerns
• Start IV access and assist with ultrasound-guided IV and IO placement
• Administer protocol-based labs, EKGs, x-rays, and medications
• Support trauma, stroke, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Monitor cardiac status and assist with cardiopulmonary care
• Provide safe care in procedure rooms and the psychiatric annex

• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience in a hospital setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
