Travel ED RN in Chewelah, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Chewelah, Washington. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and has 11 beds with an average daily census of 16.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients across all age groups
• Assess, stabilize, and reassess patients with acute medical, traumatic, and behavioral conditions
• Administer IV therapies, emergency medications, and blood products
• Monitor dysrhythmias, interpret cardiac rhythms, and support stroke and seizure care
• Perform procedural sedation monitoring and maintain IV access
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• 1 year of charge experience in the emergency department
• Emergency department experience with triage, IV starts, dysrhythmia management, sedation monitoring, and trauma or stroke care

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with ventilated patients and noninvasive ventilation
• Experience with behavioral health, trauma, and stroke cases
