Travel ED RN in Chewelah, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Chewelah, Washington. The unit has 11 beds, sees neonates through geriatrics, and averages 16 visits a day with Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients across pediatric and adult cases
• Assess and stabilize patients with trauma, stroke, respiratory illness, and behavioral health needs
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Start and maintain IV access and support procedural sedation monitoring
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Apply isolation precautions and follow infection control practices
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Emergency department experience with triage, IV access, dysrhythmia recognition, and sedation monitoring

• NRP
• Epic charting system experience
• Trauma, stroke, and STEMI care experience
• Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP, and psychiatric emergency experience
