About this job

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Big Sky, Montana. The role supports stroke care, pediatric emergencies, and trauma-related practice in a busy setting with collaborative team care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
  • Initiate nursing interventions and stabilize acute conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Support stroke and trauma care protocols
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active Montana Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • 1 year emergency nursing or critical care experience

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
