Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 16-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and serves medical and behavioral hold patients in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Triage medical and behavioral hold patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support emergency treatments
• Coordinate care with providers and support staff
• Document care in Cerner and maintain patient communication
• Support safe patient care across emergency areas

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high-volume emergency department
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC, and CPI certifications

• Experience in a comparable high-volume emergency department
