Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner, typically staffs 4:1, and may care for behavioral holds at up to 7:1.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Stabilize patients with urgent and changing conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation
• Document care in Cerner
• Support behavioral health holds
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate clearly

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency room setting
• 2 years in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high-volume emergency department
• Strong teamwork, coaching, and real-time feedback skills

• Prior experience in a similar high-volume emergency department
