Travel ED RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit serves medical and behavioral hold patients, uses Cerner, and typically staffs at 4:1 ratios in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with Magnet designation.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Monitor medical and behavioral hold patients
• Administer ordered treatments and medications
• Support triage and cardiac monitoring
• Document care in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe patient flow
• Provide patient updates and respectful service

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS before start
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• 2 years of nursing experience
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center

• Experience in a similar emergency department setting
