Travel ED RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital level II trauma emergency department in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adult and pediatric patients with behavioral health and complex social needs, uses Cerner, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Triage adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Stabilize trauma, medical, and behavioral health emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Assist with airway support, sedation monitoring, and intubation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and clinical changes
• Provide culturally sensitive care and collaborate with support services

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Level II trauma center experience
• Adult and pediatric emergency care skills

• AVADE training
• Pediatric emergency department experience
• Trauma care experience with burns, chest tubes, neuro trauma, and spinal cord injury
• Cerner charting system experience
