Travel Echo-Vascular Tech in Orange, CA

A Travel Pediatric Echo Tech Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer will perform pediatric cardiac echocardiography in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The role supports inpatient and outpatient studies for children, with a daily caseload of 4-5 and Cerner charting.

• Perform pediatric cardiac echocardiography studies for inpatient and outpatient patients
• Capture cardiac images and measurements using standard echocardiography techniques
• Review image quality and obtain additional views as needed
• Support evaluation of routine and complex congenital cardiac anatomy
• Communicate study needs and findings with the care team
• Document studies accurately in the charting system

• Active BLS certification
• RDCS-Peds, RCS, or RCCS credential
• One year of cardiac pediatric echocardiography experience
• Six months of pediatric echocardiography experience
• Graduation from an accredited echocardiography training program or equivalent experience
• Pediatric echocardiography skills with routine and complex studies

• Three years of pediatric echocardiography experience in all modalities
• Cerner charting system experience
• 2-D, 3-D, M-mode, and Doppler imaging experience
• Congenital and post-surgical pediatric cardiac anatomy experience
