Travel Echo-Vascular Tech in Fortuna, CA

A Travel Echo-Vascular Tech Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiography studies in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Fortuna, California. The unit serves adolescents, adults and geriatrics, with an average daily census of 8-10 and Epic charting.

• Perform adult echocardiography studies
• Obtain images and measurements using M-mode and contrast techniques
• Assist with bubble studies and stress echo procedures
• Prepare patients and explain testing steps
• Document study results and quality findings in Epic

• ARDMS or CCI credential
• BLS certification
• 2 years of echocardiography experience
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient experience
• Bubble study, contrast imaging and M-mode skills

• RDCS-Adult or ARRT Sonography credential
• 3-D echo, TEE, pharmacologic stress echo and treadmill stress echo experience
• RVIT, RVOT and routine study experience
• Community hospital and Epic charting experience
